The Training
All facets of the Recreational Aviation
Australia (R.A.A., formally the Australian Ultralight Federation, A.U.F.)
Training Syllabus are covered by Parkside Ultralight School.
All standards are catered
for, from the absolute beginner to seasoned General Aviation
Pilots wanting to convert their licence to a better type of
aviating!
Student Pilots
Qualification required to
attain your R.A.A. Pilots Certificate consists of a minimum
of 20 hours flight time, of which 5 hours must be 'solo'.
Further training can then be conducted to achieve:
Parkside Ultralight School
can also test pilots for:
General
Aviation Conversion
Current General Aviation
licence holders can convert to a R.A.A. Pilot Certificate
after minimal amount of conversion training. The
flight times vary from Pilot to Pilot, however minimum
conversion times as set down by R.A.A. apply. (Flight
hours required can be as little as 5 hours)
